Success Road Map --prt5

MINDSET 2:

The RP play the money game to win
The PP play the money game not to lose.

It's all about survival & Security VS Wealth & abundance

The intention of what you get will eventually be what you get
What you intent == What you get (or less)

If you want to be comfortable, You will never get rich.
If you want to be rich, chances are you will be rich and comfortable.

But of course there's a price for everything you get in life.

MINDSET 3:
The RP are committed to become RICH
The PP just want to be Rich.

You might ask "What's the difference?"
Well there's a hell lot of difference.

It's the desire to be Rich.
There are 3 types of wanting.

1) I "Want" to be Rich
2) I "Choose" to be Rich
3) I " Commit" to be Rich

When oneself is committed to something, he/she will devote oneself unreservedly

It's a matter of how much you are willing to do, risk or even sacrifice.

Getting rich is not a stroll in the park.
It takes focus, courage, knowledge, 100% effort and a never give up attitude.

If you are not fully, totally and truly committed to being rich, most likely you won't.

MINDSET 4:
The RP think big
The PP think small.

Life is not about you.

It is about
Contributing to others,
Living true to your mission,
Reason of being here, where you are at this time,
Adding your piece of the puzzle to the world,
Adding value to other people's life.

Most of us are not living to out full potential in terms of our own lives and contribution to others.

We must hold true that everyone has a mission.
That everyone has his/her unique purpose in life.

The world don't need people playing small.
It's time to stop hinging and start to step out.
It's time to stop needing and start leading and sharing with others.

MINDSET 5:
The RP focus on opportunities
The PP focus on obstacles.

Normally when a problem occurs, the RP will normally find out what's the problem and try to overcome them.
They have the "I will make it work" mentality.

But for the PP they will normally think more on the problem then as to how to solve them.
They have the "I don't have enough time" , "I'm running out of time" etc.
This normally will forms a vicious cycle as they keep on reminding themselves of the problem but spend less time on thinking how to solve them.

So will you adopt the RP mindset or the PP mindset?

FOCUS

In order to succeed financially, you have to do or start something.
You have to stay in focus.
And when you meet with a problem, solve it and refocus back to your goal.

FOCUS -----> OBSTACLE? ----> SOLVE AND REFOCUS

Remember, Action beats Inaction.

RP get started.
They trust that once you get in the game, you can make intelligence decisions in the present moment.
They will make corrections and adjust their sails along the way.

Mind Actions
-Get in the game.
-Practice optimisms
-Focus on what you have and not what you don't have.

MINDSET 6:
The RP admire the rich and successful
The PP
resent the rich and successful

RP associate themselves with positive, successful people.
PP associate themselves with negative, unsuccessful people.

RP constantly learn.
PP think they already know whatever there is to learn.

RP are good listener.
PP jumps to conclusion easily.

RP are good receiver.
PP are poor receiver.

RP choose to get paid base on result.
PP choose to get paid base on time.

RP focus on their net worth.
PP focus on their working income.

RP act in spite of fear.
PP let fear stop them.

Success Road Map --prt4 -Attitudes & Mindset

In my previous blog, I illustrated that 2 people doing the same thing can have 2 different results due to the choices they make.

Since destiny is not a matter of chances but a matter of choices.
But the question is what decides our choices??

Attitude is the primary force that will determine whether we fail or succeed.

The attitude that we have will determines our approach to life which forms our mindset on the way we approach our life.
The way we do anything is the way we do everything.

For example let's say you have a friend who is always late for outings or gatherings. When I say always, I meant that this person is like late for 80%~90% of the time. And when he/she is early it's likely due to the fact that he/she is around the meeting place due to previous appointment.

So if this person is always late, you can assume that he is always late for most of the things in his life. Be it submitting a report, planning for stuff. Most of the time this guy will have no reaction time. Most likely he has burn midnight oils to get the things done on time. If somethings cropped up, most likely he will have no time to react, but to ask for a delay or deadline extension.

So what are the Mindsets that we need in order to be rich and successful ?

Well let's start examining them.

MINDSET 1:
The Rich Mindset People (RMP): "I create my life"
The Poor MindsetPeople (PMP): "Life happens to me"

The RMP believes that what they focus on expands and they will choose their words and carefully.

Why??

It's because they believe that words shift their beliefs. Using negative words will have negative effect on their beliefs and the opposite is true.

Belief ---> Thoughts ---> Actions ---> Result

The RMP will have the drive to go and create the life they want for themselves.
Unlike the PMP, they will wait for things to happen then they counter react.

The RMP always take actions. Because actions always produce results.
It's just that is the result the one that you wanted?
If it is not what you wanted, then continue to take action till the result is what you want.
It's as simple as that.
But PMP will flee once they see the wrong result.
The RMP will try to evaluate what went wrong and try it all over again and again till they get what they want.

So start taking action now.....
That's all for this blog.

Success Road Map --prt3

After all these time have you figured out what exactly that you want?
Knowing what you want is just the beginning of everything.
The thing now is to know what you need to reach what you want.
Remember this
If you do what you always have done, you will always get what you have always gotten.

Using the most common item money as an illustration.

Let's say that you wanted more money.
You know you wanted more.
The issue now is how do you get some extra income.
There's thousands and millions way to earn/get extra income.
If you do not have extra income in your life right now, then you really need to devise and execute a plan that will get you extra income.
For example for that you are a programmer.
The most likely method that programmers will do to get extra income is to do freelance programming for others.
You will go round finding projects, writing the programs and delivering to your clients to earn a income.

How much can you make by doing it this way?
Let's say you spent an additional 8 hrs on your freelancing and 8hrs on your full time job.
And you are able to make an additional 3K this way.
Sound good?

But think of what you have to forsake.
Are you able to work 16 hrs everyday ?
But how long can you continue to earn this way?
5yrs? 10yrs? 20yrs?
Won't your health deteriorate?
This is a good method to earn some money for urgent use say a month or two.
But to earn a constant income this way?
Imagine what you would have to lose?
You will have less time for your family, friends and love one.
You will have less time for your own entertainment.
Even if you are able to earn using this method, are you able to buy the bond with your family that have weaken due to you doing freelancing?
Are you able to buy back the time that you have lost with your friends?
Most likely your circle of friends will get smaller.

Is that what you want?
Have money but no time to spend or anyone to share with?

Remember I talked about faith in my previous blog?

What if you have faith that you can write programs that others will need and henceforth wants.

Would you have done it differently?
Would you had started a website. (Domain these are quite affordable)
Post your program there for others to use as shareware (maybe even freeware).

Because others will want to have the program that you write and will be willing to pay you.
If they don't, you can even give them for free. As they wants to use your programs but are unwilling to pay. You can earn by advertising on your website. Advertisers will be more than willing to pay you if you can get good landing, hits and rebound figures with your website.

You would still be doing the same thing ( writing programs ) but you would have other streams of income.
You would have,
1) Constant income from advertisers
2) Selling of your programs (which you planned to do anyway)
3) Subscriptions from people who are willing to pay a little bit for more advance programs or updates whatever service that you can provide.
and much much more. Your brain is the limit.

I have illustrated 2 ways that 2 different person might have chosen to take although they might have the same goal. Which is to earn additional income.

But which way do you think is a better way?
Well think it this way.
I don't know who is the best programmer.
But I know who makes the most out of programming.
It's the person that writes the first version of MS-Dos.
Would he be who he is now if he had sold his source to IBM.
Guess most of you would know who he is.
Anyway read about him here if you are interested..

So success is not a matter of chances, it is a matter of choices.

What you would do to have what you want is a CHOICE
What you would do when you meet with problems is a CHOICE.
What you would do to overcome the problem is a CHOICE.

But most importantly is to execute your plan daily.
Be consistent and persistent to reach your goal.

If you knew that what you did today would change the way you feel tomorrow.
Would you act differently?
What's your choice?

Success Road Map --prt2

http://www.emailcashpro.com

In the last Blog I have stated what are the fears that stop people in breaking free from the vicious cycle of being poor.
Today I'll start to touch on what are the things that will help to propel us out of the vicious cycle.

In the last blog I end it with the phrase
"So only those who can see the invisible can accomplish the impossible."

But how do we see the invisible?

First of all we need to have faith.
Faith is a strong belief of what will be.
To have faith in what we do is to have a strong belief that we can achieve what we want to see in the future and not now. Although the current moment may be in quite a bad state.

Hence faith is seeing what we do not see and with that we will have the courage and make the effort to go towards what we want.

But effort and courage alone are not enough without purpose and direction.

We need to decide EXACTLY what it is that we want in life.
Why do we need to plan exactly what it is that we want?

Well let's say you want to meet your friend.
What will you tell him?
Will you tell him like Bedok Bus interchange? or will you just tell him Bedok?
If it's the later, you might end up with him waiting at the MRT control station while you at the Bus interchange.
And it's the same with what we want.
We are telling ourself where to meet.
If we don't give ourself the exact location, our actions will always be short of what exactly we want.
This will in turn cause frustration and self-doubt in ourselves.

And a series of such happenings can bring a great deviation to the final end result.

Some people do get what they want even when they don't set specific goals, but normally they would have taken a much longer time and effort compared to if they had told themselves exactly what they want.

People with goals succeed as they know where they are going.
Without goals they would have lost their way here and there in the process.
And most people might even give up the moment they find themselves lost.

So do you want to be waste time getting lost on your way to freedom?
Do you want to you to spend more time doing stuff than what is required?
Do you want to find the excuse to give up?

This is all I'll write for now and let you all go and think about what exactly are your goals....
What exactly is it that you want...........
